First Aid at Work Requalification
Course Description:
A course for qualified First Aiders to update their practical skills and knowledge leading to certificate renewal for a further three years. The 2 day requalification course covers the complete syllabus and updates any changes to procedures or protocols.
This course meets the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
Minimum age: 16 years
Length of the Course: 12 contact hours over a minimum of 2 days. Maximum number of students on a single course is 12. Minimum number of students required to run a course is 6. Assessment of competence will be carried out by an independent external assessor.
Course certification:
On successful completion of the course students will be awarded a 'First Aid at Work' requalification certificate, approved for the purpose of the Health and Safety (First Aid) regulations 1981, which is valid for three years.
