Emergency Aid & The Appointed Person 
Course Description:

The Emergency Aid course is designed to train individuals who require appointed person training in basic first aid skills. This course will provide first aid skills necessary to manage a patient who is not breathing normally, is unconscious or is bleeding prior to the arrival of the emergency services.

The Emergency Aid course is designed to meet the recommendations of the HSE Health and Safety at Work (1981) Regulations for Appointed Persons.

This course also meets the first aid requirements of the Department for Children, Schools and Families for First Aid in Schools.

Minimum age: 12 years

Length of the Course: 6 contact hours over 1 day. Maximum number of students on a single course is 12. Minimum number of students required to run a course is 6.

Course certification:
On successful completion of the course students will be awarded the 'Emergency Aid' certificate, which meets the recommendations by the HSE for Appointed Persons, and is valid for three years.

Delivered on site in the workplace.      Delivered at our venue.
£50 per person.      £55 per person.

Corporate courses - £negotiable over 8 students per course.
