




Course Description:
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation & Automated External Defibrillation Course is designed to train individuals and company staff who require training in basic life support and automated external defibrillation.
This course will provide the necessary skills to manage a patient who is unconscious and not breathing normally until the arrival of the emergency services.
This course meets the guidelines of the UK and European Resuscitation Councils for Basic Life Support and the use of an AED.
Minimum age: 16 years
Length of the Course: 6 contact hours over 1 day. Maximum number of students on a single course is 6. Minimum number of students required to run a course is 2.
Course certification:
On successful completion of the course and final assessment participants will be awarded a CPR/AED Providers certificate, valid for 12 months after which time the successful student must retake the course in order to continue as an AED provider.
